Reports
Simple Time provides a range of reports to help you understand how your business is performing. Whether you need to run payroll, analyze profitability, or track material usage, the Reports section has you covered.
Available Reports
Simple Time includes the following report types:
- Payroll — View employee timecards, total hours worked, and overtime for any date range.
- Billing — Track revenue, invoiced amounts, and outstanding balances.
- Profitability — Analyze profit margins by client to understand where your money is being made.
- Costing — Break down costs per work order, including labor, materials, and services.
- Mileage — Summarize mileage driven by your team for travel reimbursement or tax purposes.
- Materials — Review material usage across jobs and track inventory consumption.
Using Reports
To access reports:
- Go to Reports from the main navigation.
- Select the report type you want to view.
- Choose your date range and any filters (such as employee, client, or work order).
- Click Generate Report.
Most reports can be exported to CSV for use in spreadsheets or accounting software.
Date Ranges and Filters
All reports support custom date ranges. You can view data for a specific week, month, quarter, or any custom period. Additional filters vary by report type and let you narrow down results to specific team members, clients, or jobs.
