Simple Time provides a complete set of tools for tracking your team's time, expenses, and mileage. Accurate records mean correct payroll, transparent client billing, and better insight into how your business operates.
Time Tracking
Your team can log their hours in two ways:
- Weekly Grid — A spreadsheet-style view where workers enter their hours for the week across different work orders.
- Clock In/Out — Real-time time tracking where workers tap a button to start and stop their work sessions.
Both methods feed into the same timesheet system, so you get a unified view of all hours worked.
Approvals and Payroll
Managers and owners can review and approve team time entries before payroll. Once approved, entries are locked for workers. After paying your team, confirm payroll to permanently lock those records.
- Approve Time Sheets — Review team hours and approve entries by date range.
- Confirm Payroll — Permanently lock approved entries after employees are paid.
Expense and Mileage Claims
Beyond time tracking, Simple Time also handles:
- Expense Claims — Workers can submit expenses with receipt photos for reimbursement.
