How the Simple Time 14-day free trial works and what happens when it ends.
Free Trial
Every new Simple Time account starts with a 14-day free trial of Pro. No credit card is required to sign up.
What You Get During the Trial
During your trial you have full access to all Pro features, including:
- Manager role and time entry approvals
- Material tracking
- Advanced reports
- Fill My Route
- Unlimited photo uploads and client emails
- Unlimited team members
This lets you explore everything Simple Time has to offer before committing to a plan.
Trial Timeline
Days 1 -- 14: Full Access
Use all Pro features with no restrictions. A banner in the app shows how many trial days you have remaining.
When the Trial Ends
Shortly after your trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan automatically. You do not need to do anything, and you are not asked for a card. Nobody is locked out.
- You keep using Simple Time for time tracking, work orders, clients and sites, quotes, invoices, and basic reports.
- Your data is not deleted. It all comes with you.
- The Free plan has limits: up to 5 users, 100 emails per month to clients, 100 photo uploads per month, and 1 GB of storage. Pro features such as the Manager role, material tracking, time entry approvals, and advanced reports need a Pro subscription.

If you have more than 5 people
The owner and the longest-standing members stay active, and the rest are paused, not deleted. Paused members cannot sign in until you subscribe to Pro, and then they come back automatically with everything they logged.
You can move up from the Free plan at any time by subscribing to Pro. All your data will be right where you left it, and paused members return the moment you subscribe.
Subscribing Before the Trial Ends
You can subscribe at any time during your trial:
- Go to Settings > Subscription.
- Choose your billing cycle.
- Complete checkout.
Your subscription begins immediately. You will not be charged separately for the remaining trial days.
