How to manage job sites and locations for your clients, including map integration in Simple Time.
Client Sites
Clients often have one or more locations where work needs to be performed. In Simple Time, these are called sites. Each site represents a physical location — like an office, a home, a warehouse, or a retail store — where your team carries out jobs.
Adding a Site
- Open the client profile.
- Go to the Sites section.
- Click Add Site.
- Enter the site details:
- Site Name — A descriptive name like "Main Office" or "Warehouse B."
- Address — The full street address of the location.
- Notes — Any helpful details such as access instructions, parking info, or contact persons on site.
- Click Save.
Map Integration
When you enter a site address, Simple Time uses map integration to pinpoint the location. This helps your team find job sites easily and gives managers a visual overview of where work is happening.
The map view shows all your client sites, making it easy to plan routes and see the geographic spread of your jobs.
Linking Sites to Work Orders
When creating a work order, you select both a client and a site. This ensures every job is tied to a specific location, which is important for scheduling, navigation, and reporting.
Editing and Removing Sites
You can update a site's details at any time from the client profile. If a site is no longer active, you can remove it. Work orders previously linked to a removed site will retain their historical data.
