Set up your service catalog with standard services and pricing for use in quotes, work orders, and invoices.
Service Catalog
The service catalog lets you define the standard services your business offers, complete with descriptions and pricing. This makes it fast and consistent to add services to quotes, work orders, and invoices.
Setting Up Your Service Catalog
To add a service to your catalog:
- Go to Materials > Service Catalog (or access it from the main navigation).
- Click Add Service.
- Enter the service details:
- Name — A clear name for the service (e.g., "Standard Plumbing Callout", "Electrical Inspection").
- Description — A brief description of what the service includes.
- Price — The standard price for this service.
- Save.
Using Services
Once services are in your catalog, you can quickly add them to:
- Quotes — Select services from the catalog when building a quote for a client.
- Work Orders — Add services to a work order to track what was performed.
- Invoices — Include services as line items on invoices, with pricing pulled from the catalog.
You can always override the catalog price on a per-job basis if needed.
Editing Services
To update a service's name, description, or pricing, go to the service catalog, find the service, and click to edit it. Changes to the catalog do not affect services already added to existing quotes, work orders, or invoices.
Bulk Import
If you have many services to add, you can import them via CSV. See the Data Import guide for instructions.
