Onboarding
After signing up and verifying your email, Simple Time guides you through a short onboarding wizard. This wizard helps you configure the essentials so you can start using the platform right away.
What the Wizard Covers
The onboarding wizard walks you through the following steps:
Company Name
Enter your business name. This is how your organization will appear throughout Simple Time and in any communications sent to your clients.
Invite Team Members
Add your team by entering their email addresses. Each person you invite will receive an email with instructions to join your organization. You can assign roles during this step or adjust them later.
Team members can be:
- Managers — Can create work orders, manage clients, and oversee team timesheets.
- Workers — Can view assigned work, clock in and out, and submit expense claims.
Initial Preferences
Choose basic settings like your preferred timezone and date format. These can be changed later in your organization settings.
Skipping Steps
If you are not ready to invite your team or configure everything right away, you can skip any step in the wizard and come back to it later from your settings.
After Onboarding
Once you complete the wizard, you will land on your dashboard. From there, you can start creating work orders, adding clients, and managing your team.
